Susie Bush-Ramsey is a creative designer, former international athlete, and APPI-trained Pilates instructor with a deep-rooted passion for wellbeing that bridges performance, presence, and mindful living.

Drawing on her experience at the highest levels of sport, Susie understands first-hand the demands placed on both body and mind—and the essential role that calm, focus, and nervous-system balance play in sustainable performance and long-term wellbeing. Her work is shaped by this understanding: that true strength is not built through physical conditioning alone, but through learning to quieten the mind and move with clarity and intention.

Her Pilates teaching reflects this philosophy. Susie’s classes offer a refreshing, holistic approach—combining precise, intelligent movement with breath, awareness, and moments of stillness. Grounded in classical Pilates principles and informed by her elite athletic background, her sessions create space to slow down, reset, and reconnect, supporting both mental clarity and physical resilience.

In 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, Susie created Take 7 Simple Steps, a beautifully illustrated and narrated wellbeing programme inspired by her personal journey through sport, creativity, and self-reflection. Initially offered for free and shared via hand-written wooden tags placed outside cafés and restaurants across South West London, the programme quickly received heartfelt praise for its calming voice, gentle guidance, and animated sketches. It has since been shared digitally around the world.

The programme later evolved into a six-week face-to-face course, The Love Me Programme, which Susie successfully delivered in South West London for two years and will launch in Essex in early 2026, with a continued focus on wellbeing-led Pilates and mindful movement.

In early 2021, Susie collaborated with athlete Chrissie Wellington OBE to write and illustrate two children’s storybooks, translating the core concepts of 7 Simple Steps into accessible, playful narratives for younger audiences. Her children also helped narrate animated videos for the books, bringing the messages to life and reflecting the values Susie is most passionate about sharing with the next generation.

Whether teaching Pilates, delivering wellbeing workshops to vulnerable women, presenting to corporate organisations, schools, and charities, or sharing her storybooks with families, Susie brings together lived experience, creativity, and compassion. Her work gently empowers others to cultivate a more balanced, grounded way of living—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
